| Learning Activities! |
| Its good to provide a learning time for the children... I believe its good for the children to have a time to sit down and have a learning time. I try to have a weekly theme, such as, shapes, colors, letters, numbers, and identifying their names. I also have crafts that they enjoy doing and we also learn how to cut with scissors. We learn how to use a pencil properly as well as coloring and painting, etc. There's also a time in the morning after snack, which I call, "story time," and I read a few of their favorite books. The children also enjoy visual aides such as, Flannel board stories, and puppets! I enjoy using that method of story telling. "Red says Stop" is one of their favorites. The sound of music and movement brings great enjoyment to toddlers and infants, I enjoy putting Disney songs, and we have a wonderful time together!! These are couple of their favorite books.... |
